By downloading, installing, or using the MySchools App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the application and should delete it from your device immediately.

2. Description of Service

MySchools App is a data aggregation tool designed to help parents access information from various third-party school portals in a unified interface. We provide the platform to view this data; we do not create or control the content provided by the schools.

3. Independence and Non-Affiliation

MySchools App is an independent software application. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with any school, school district, or third-party school portal vendor (such as Engage, Sentral, etc.). All school-related names, logos, and portal brands are the property of their respective owners.

4. Data Retrieval and Third-Party Services

The MySchools App acts as a tool to help you access and view information from your school’s existing portal. We use automated methods to retrieve this data on your behalf so it can be displayed in a unified interface.

  • Availability: Our ability to display information is directly dependent on the availability and technical compatibility of your school’s third-party portal.
  • Accuracy: We are not responsible for inaccuracies, errors, or omissions originating from your school’s own systems.
  • Modifications: If a school portal changes its technical structure, our service may be temporarily interrupted until an update is released.

5. Proper Use and Responsibility

  • Not for Emergencies: This app is a convenience tool. Do not rely on MySchools App for critical, time-sensitive, or emergency communications. Always verify such information through official school channels.
  • Liability: MySchools App, its developers, and its parent entity shall not be held liable for any missed notices, missed deadlines, or any damages arising from your reliance on the application.
  • Lawful Use: You agree to use the app only for personal, non-commercial purposes and will not attempt to interfere with the app’s security or data retrieval mechanisms.

6. School Addition Requests

If you use the “Request a School” feature, you agree to provide accurate information (School Name, City, Country, Portal URL, and your Email). We use this data solely to evaluate and implement new adapters for the community.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the “Version” and “Last Updated” date above and prompting for re-consent within the app.
